The second graders in Mrs. Lawrence class have been sharing ALL ABOUT ME during the first week of school.  We had lots of fun learning ALL ABOUT each other by sharing what we brought in our brown paper bags.  

Slocum ISD would like Thank the First Congregational Methodist Church of Elkhart for their donation of school supplies to begin the year. The supplies have helped many families in need, and the smiles on the students’ faces when they were given to them were priceless! Bless you for your giving sprit! THANK YOU 

Once again the ladies from the First Baptist Church of Slocum and Lakeside Baptist Church have provided a beginning of the year luncheon for the faculty and staff of Slocum ISD. The meal was SUPERB! Thank you so much for the wonderful meal and the plentiful desserts that you provide each year for us! We look forward to the goodies prepared for us and truly appreciate the hard work you do to “pamper” us! Thank you!
